hi,
i'm applying for a new program up in vancouver at langara college in connection with the CIIS school. Expressive arts therapist certificate course, a 2 year continuing education course.
Has anyone out there done any work with this school in toronto or san fran or switzerland? Any thoughts, gossip?
Is there anyone trying or succeeding in making a living in this field? how's it going?
seeking and learning,
linda b

Re: expressive arts program CIIS
Wed, April 20, 2005 - 10:29 PMHi Linda!
I did the drama therapy program at CIIS (though not the expressive arts program) I'm happy to tell you anything about it and what I know of expressive arts. I had a really mixed experience...let me know what your wondering about:-) I'll do my best to answer...
As far as succeeding and making a living-- it is definitely possible! I (and a number of exa ciis graduates) intern at a transpersonal counseling center and I'm feeling really optomisitc about this path. I have the opportunity to do art and drama if I want to use that modality. Though to be honest, at the moment, I'm way more into the transpersonal part-- but I'm very glad to have the skills.
Best wishes to you!
Alexandra
